Health & Safety Policy

Power System Consultants acknowledges that its operations involve various hazards, especially in the design of electricity networks and systems. The organization is aware that its employees may face risks during on-site support for customers through activities such as site surveys and inspections.

 

The company firmly believes that despite these inherent hazards, all accidents and incidents of work-related ill health can be prevented. Furthermore, Power System Consultants recognizes its legal obligation to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of individuals affected by its operations.

 

In commitment to these principles, the Directors of Power System Consultants pledge to:

  1. Prevent injuries or ill health for anyone affected by the company's work activities.

  2. Adhere to all pertinent legal, customer, and other third-party requirements.

  3. Continuously enhance risk management and occupational health and safety performance.

 

To realize these commitments, the organization will:

  1. Establish and maintain an independently certified Health and Safety Management System compliant with ISO 45001:2018 (in progress).

  2. Systematically identify existing hazards and utilize a risk assessment procedure to implement suitable control measures and safe work systems.

  3. Sustain objectives and a supportive work program dedicated to fulfilling the organization’s commitments and mitigating major hazards.

  4. Clearly define individual management and employee responsibilities for executing the Health and Safety Management System and attaining organizational objectives.

  5. Provide pertinent information, instruction, training, and supervision to ensure employees are aware of their responsibilities, legal duties, and can actively support the implementation of the Health and Safety Management System, fostering a proactive health and safety culture.

  6. Uphold effective systems for communication and consultation on health and safety matters with all employees and other stakeholders impacted by the organization’s activities.

Top Management will regularly review the appropriateness and effectiveness of this policy, along with the identified means for fulfilling the organization’s commitments.

 

The implementation of this policy is integral to the success of the organization's business and requires the support of all employees as an inherent part of their daily work. This policy is available to interested external parties upon request.
